Cycling in Copenhagen is one of the best little adventures I had with my brother in Denmark. The city is so set up for bikes it’s ridiculous. They have special sections on trains with (unlike in Berlin) holders for the bikes, there are rails to the train so that you can roll your bike up and down steps and best of all proper cycle lanes that separate you from the traffic. I had never cycled on the road in my life so I was kind of freaking out, fortunately I had my brother to follow and very soon I was feeling pretty confident. After a small trip around Copenhagen on day one, we took a 21km bike ride to the beach and back – I was exhausted, but it was the best day ever!
